I see it! My favorite F.P. Journe...

The steel minute repeater, looks great! The one I heard in New York still had some problems with the spacing/pausing between the hour chimes and the quarter hour chimes. Have they gotten a chance to rectify this yet?

I think the ultimate question that I would ask myself when it comes to digital display watches such as the F.P. Journe Vagabonde are;
how reliable is it?
is the switch from 5:59 to 6:00 instantaneous?
How thick is it?

The Lange Zeitwerk is impressive, beautiful, and fascinating. However, it is thick and difficult to wear on the wrist.

I've seen the F.P. Journe Vagabonde and found it to be very slim and petite, I just wonder if there is any decrease in function performance in comparison to the Lange.

A special mirror to see how the watch looks on your wrist!...

Great pictures, Allen!

The new Vagabondage II looks nice on your wrist. It's probably a bit too eccentric for me. The plate on the dial for the time display reminds me of the shape of a cow-hide rug. Still, it is an intriguing piece, and I'd like to see it in person. Cheers, Da...

Yes, best pics I have seen so far of this watch.

Looks amazing on the wrist! Congratulations. I really like the design particularly the smoked sapphire dial that lets you see the hour/minute wheels. Any shots of the reverse side of the movement?

It looks just about the right size on your wrist..................

Daos, what a great way to look at it. Will this piece now be known as the "Cow Hide" style? LOL

:-) Funny! [nt]

Great shots -- you are all over the PuristS this week! I keep kicking myself for missing out on the original Vagabondage, which is my favorite FPJ by far -- perhaps I'll be able to get in on this one... Best, Gary

Simple and Beautiful.....

I think design wise, this one really wins over the Lange version. Personally, I feel this one has more 'feeling' and much more elegance Thanks Allen for sharing. *CL

Wow Allen!

Absolutely stunning watch -- I love the contrast between the industrial-type skeletal "roughness" of the watch vs. the technical achievement and polished finishing. But given the challenges of maintaining accuracy while providing instantaneous minute chan...

The first few pieces should be delivered in the next month or so. There will be 69 pieces in both platinum and rose gold. The size is slightly larger Vagabondage I (but don't have exact measurements yet). Not sure exact price but guesstimate is US$55k.

Love that last shot!

I love the "cowhide" and the visible plate as well, but i find the PR scale to "dash board -like" or to industrial and the brushed flat bezel to crude - I think it makes the piece fall apart - designwise - it lacks at bit of the homogenity Journe pieces n...

I think Mr. Journe intentionally went for a very "raw" look on this one..
