The Zodiaque has become one of my favorite weekend watches. Adding the blue strap really brought the watch to life for me and perfectly compliments the blue hands. Unfortunately there is a flaw which I have come to accept. Despite numerous attempts to align the date and month it seems the outer circle always become out of sync. Am I disappointed? Yes. Does it change how I feel about the watch? No. I'm certain in time Mr. Journe will figure out how to correct this. It must be the elusive puzzle for him. There have been some interesting ideas discussed on why this occurs. What seems to be missing is a mechanism that synchronizes the the zodiac ring with the date and hands. Something must happens when you manually adjust the time past the midnight causing the outer ring to jump. Only time will tell before get an explanation. For now I'll just stay a few clicks ahead.

... but when? My Z was in service (again) a few months ago and I wonder if it was fixed at that point. And, does this mean that as the Z's now return for service the next time, will they be updated with the resolution, like an auto recall? I heartily agre...
