F.P. Journe - Invenit et Fecit - was a welcome addition to the horological world in 1999. Francois-Paul Journe gave birth to several ground-breaking designs that ignited a fire in the hearts of technical watch lovers worldwide. His Chronometre a Resonance is the first wristwatch to incorporate the resonance phenomenon, all with the objective of improving timekeeping. The Tourbillon a Remontoir d'Egalite, again a rare complication with a constant force device that regulates the pressure of the escapement. F.P. Journe brings back to life the golden age of watchmaking, that of Breguet, Janvier, and other greats, but at the same time adding a distinctive design to all his watches.
